At the start of a new week, I have to focus on what I can accomplish and the best way to approach my goals. It can be overwhelming until I set up my daily plan.
Today’s plan consists of doing what I am doing at this moment – writing to you and sharing ideas on decorating your home. It also consists of working on one of my clients’ floorplans and another’s window treatment design.
That’s not all I have to do, but it’s the most important focus of today. Sounds simple but it’s not. While working on the floorplan, I have to think through the layout, the flooring and the wall treatments. My goal is that the end result is a timeless design that will last and look great for a long time.
It’s the same process for the window treatment. It should look just as pretty in five, ten years or even longer. Built to last with quality fabric, impeccable fabrication. No short cuts here.
Timelessness – is not quick ship. It’s not cheap. However, it will relieve you of wondering whether it will last and hold up to every day wear and tear.
