However, no matter what time of year, the idea of cozy and comfortable or the concept of ‘wellness’ in your home is what matters most.
In the my last blog post , The New Way to Design Your Coastal Home I discussed the idea of ‘wellness’. It’s one of the most popular hashtags on Instagram. But how and where do you add this concept to your home? If you’re in the beginning stages of planning a new home or in the midst of planning a remodel, it’s an even better time to add the value of wellness to your life and home.
The Danish have a term for the idea of ‘nesting’ at home which could be considered part of the ‘wellness’ movement. It’s called Hygge and pronounced “hoo-ga”. It’s the concept of adding “cozy contentment and well-being” according to Country Living magazine.
So, this week we will be looking for ways you can add Hygge or well-being through wellness in your home. Tomorrow grab a cup of coffee, and take a few moments to learn how to live your best concept of a coastal lifestyle where we will learn how water in your home sets the tone for wellness and – Hygge.
